Diamond is the hardest gemstone and the most durable one. However, it is always better to take certain precautions and do some maintenance of your precious stone. Diamonds don’t easily wear off with household chemicals, but getting mixed with bleach and sulphuric acid can damage them. Diamonds are hard stones and don’t easily get damaged. If you wish to clean your diamonds at home, you can use a bar of mild dishwashing soap and warm water. Mix well the water with a spoon and place your diamond in this solution carefully. Let it sit for 20 minutes and then brush the gem with a soft brush to remove any residue. While brushing, brush the edges as well. The last step is to rinse the gem thoroughly and wipe it with a clean cloth that is soft and dry.
